RPG/RAT Test/Interest Check

As you can see, I love acronyms. Even more than people living in the late 1930s.

Is there anybody out there? Things have been pretty quiet around here recently. Seeing as I'm sort of the crotchety old hermit of the forum, I don't know what you whippersnappers are doing over on Minegarde.
Anyways, I created this thread as an interest check for an RP I might be doing. Details are forthcoming, mostly if you join. I will say a few things right now though. First off, it's going to focus VERY heavily on mystery, intrigue, and confusion. That being said, it will be conducted entirely in Personal Messages. It might feel a little bit like a text-based adventure if you've ever done that. I need to know how many people we're going to have before I can do anything, though (unless everyone is gone and I'm just talking to myself like an asshole). If you ARE interested, for now you can PM the following for your character:

I'm game and will pm a char soon.
Also Minegarde should pick up at least a little bit with the new information on MH4 that was released like a week ago. It should pick up even more when the game itself is released too.

Since we only have two people, I'm completely changing my idea. I've been talking to someone over on another forum, and an RP over there has been going pretty slowly from lack of consistent posters. So depending on how things go, two members from over there could be bringing an RP over to here, and you guys can join if you want.
Here's some basic information, which may be subject to change (the RP came under new management after it started).

- Hello everyone. I am going to try and start my first rp. The general idea is that we group some people (using the storyline of course) and they all have to do an epic quest. Yeah, that is basically all i got for now, so any of your ideas would be helpful. Onto the rules
1.follow all other forum rules
2. character should be fairly weak compared to normal heros in beginning (don't worry you can get stronger over time)
3. All general races all allowed, but nothing too outragious (if you have a doubt about a certain race pm me)
4. no godmoding or metagaming
5. if you think of any obvious more rules please tell me
I will be controlling most of the npc's throughout the game unless someone else wants to. I will be posting an empty char. sheet once I get a more specific idea of what this rp is going to be. I said this at the beginning, but I am new to this. I'm just getting a little frustrated with the way other rp's are turning out, so again any advise would be helpful. If you are interested please post here also.

- The land of Mordrivale there are five kingdoms: Elynwan(human), Marrowheart(dwarf), Shayrinthal(elf), Darthul (orc), Althraial(furries, featheries, scalies ect.). Don't worry, there is a universal language. Only roads that connect to major cities and some villages (and the major cities themselves of course) are guarded and most of the land is unmapped.

Glyph was planning on bringing his friends from the other forum... Purely because the forum we come from isn't exactly... Well, all I can say about it is that it contains sensitive and classified material.
Just know that the people joining are decent roleplayers. That's all that matters, right?

Well it hasn't completely died yet. A one or two sentence response every day or so is apparently enough for it to be considered "alive". As with everything I do, I ask for patience.
