Is it Art?

Can grafetti be counted as art? Ive been tagin for about 6 mth. and no one knows for sure. I just want some opinions on it. Oh and if you want ill tag ur name 4 u if u want just pm meh.

Graffiti is definetly art. Aside from requiring time and skill, it is an expression of the artist. You should do everyone's names, and make a gallery of it.

You should do the Paragraph symbol on there, with the name underneath it, cause' that would look bad ass. (In my opinion.) And at the time of this post, you and DB have the same # of posts...you're like...twins...or something.

I have a cousin who is actually an AMAZING graffiti artist. It takes a lot of patience, a quality that I seldom show when making art.

I think it depends on what has been graffiti'd (sp?). Some 13 year old's name on a wall, and poorly done, i.e. literally just writing their name, is not art. However, when someone takes the time and puts in the effort to plan, design and produce, then it can be classed as art, as it has gone through the same fundamental procedure of say, a painting, the only difference being the way the person has chose to express themselves.
