"Jake, don't shoot down the ceiling! Are to trying to help it eat us?!" Jason said to Jake.

"Get over to the door and take cover!" Jason shouted as he threw his flamethrower down the hall, then took out his hand gun. Once it hit the ground, he aimed at it, though didn't shoot the tank just yet. Once the creature was over/close to the tank, he fired three shots at it, aiming to blow up the gas in the tank, and hopefully stall, if not kill the creature.

Also, since I forgot to voice my opinions, I'll do so now.

I agree with Star; it does seem very militarized, and it seems only DB is familiar with that. It doesn't really seem far to us when it seems none of us know anything about it. :-( (I only have a soldier for the guns :-P)

OOC: I think it's going well. Maybe adding a few more "normal" zombies to shoot at would be nice. As far as the setting and stuff goes, I can understand it pretty well (I think).

@Blaster: What exactly do you not understand? Is it the setting, the "military jargon", or the technical stuff like the suits and different weapon classes? I only ask because I'm not too familiar with the military either (I play BF3, read books about it, etc.), but I can understand it pretty well.

ooc: Probably just the military jargon (What's a jargon?) and the technical stuff. (I'm sorta dumb on that stuff :-P)

OOC: Jargon is like slang. As for the technical stuff, It's kinda futuristic so it probably won't be familiar anyway. Do you read sci-fi novels or play Halo, Kill Zone, Mass Effect, etc?

OOC: Sorry for not updating anything recently. I've been pretty busy this past weekend, and probably will be through the rest of the week. But as far as understanding the setting and stuff goes, should I be more descriptive? Is there anything I can do to help you understand where you are and what you're doing? And if there's any terms you need defined, just ask, I'd be more than happy to provide as best a description as I can.

ooc: I'd say bump, but this is the only RPG in THG at the moment. :-(

OOC: Sorry, it's been a while. And I haven't been all that busy lately either. Just haven't felt like updating. So fuck it, I guess.

OOC: I would like to apologize for my negativity and immaturity in my last post. But I'm still not really sure what to do at this point. Blaster and Kut-Ku Bane haven't been on since February, Dragonboy is the only one I've seen that gets on almost every day. And it's not like there's anyone else to really get involved with anyways, given the now minimal amount of people coming around. So... what?

ooc: I would very much like to continue. I have been coming by to check regularly but only just realized when I went to post that I wasn't logged in for some reason. I was enjoying the RPG and would hate to see it end now. We are all stuck in a creepy basement, we have to get out. Don't leave us there.

But seriously, I would like to continue if you would like to as well.

It probably wouldn't be hard to get Blaster back over here. Maybe less than two weeks ago he asked me what was to be done with THG.

I figure it would be nice to get some kind of conclusion to this RPG, even if its just getting out of the basement to temporary safety.

As for the inactivity of the site in general, I'm not sure what's to be done.

ooc: I would help with the site if anyone has any ideas of what I could do.

OOC: Well that's the only problem, I'm not sure if there is anything to do. I can get Kut-Ku Bane back on easily, so concluding this shouldn't be too hard.

I really have no excuses for why the site is dead other than the sheer lack of anything MH heading our way. I may not log in all the time on here or MG very often but I can attribute it to a change in my workload, and I just don't know much of what to post...

I don't think you really need an excuse, it's not the administrator's job to keep the site populated. The unfortunate fact of the matter is that a lot of people that used to come around a lot just don't anymore. I found it both funny and disheartening that Scout's last visit was on "unknown".

Yeah, it's going to take something big to get people back into playing the game. I've been needing a MH fix myself, and have seriously debated picking up MHFU, P3 or Tri again.

Not relevant to anything, I did pick up Armored Core V. It's been a decent time consumer as of late.

Regarding getting activity back here, I'm contemplating a cross-site PVP thing, using an RPG system.
I'm not sure exactly sure when it would happen, I'd need to do a bit of an interest check on the other site.

ooc: Please don't leave us in this basement. I hate basements. I am having nightmares about being stuck in a basement with a huge creepy monster that wants to kill me. :-P

OOC: I don't know what to do, thinking just hurts too much. Maybe... or... uhhh... I don't know. I'll keep thinking and come back again once I've thought of something. (And yes, I know that's the same thing I've been saying for several months now.)
